???? Step 1: Turn Off the Power
Before doing anything, ensure all electrical power to the pool light is completely shut off at the breaker. Use a voltage tester to confirm there's no electricity running to the fixture. Safety is the top priority.
???? Step 2: Remove the Old Fixture
Locate the pool light screw (usually at the top of the fixture).
Use a screwdriver to remove the screw and gently pull the light housing out from the pool wall.
Bring the light above water (wiring should be long enough) and inspect the condition of the gasket and housing.
